Q: How do I get my venue onto ActiFinder?

Answer:

Easy! Simply log into admin.actifinder.com, create your group, add your venue and you’re done! For further assistance checkout our video guides: Part 1 | Part 2.

Q: Did not get the Login OTP?

Answer:

Please check your spam or junk email folder. If you have a Gmail account check the “Promotions” folder as well. If you still cannot find it then please contact us @ Support@actifinder.com

Q: Does ActiFinder have safety Features?

Answer:

ActiFinder prides itself on making safety part of our number 1 focus. ActiFinder has multiple features that combined significantly improves your safety when out on the trails or exploring the outdoors. We want our users to feel as safe as possible. The Emergency contact allows you to set up as many contact as you like that will be notified when you use features like Check-In at a location, use the ActiTract feature, or set off the Panic alert. These contacts will then know exactly where you are and how serious a situation might be. The venues will also be notified immediately if the Panic alert has been triggered.

Q: What is “Most Liked” option on Mobile app?

Answer:

These are the locations in your area that the ActiFinder outdoor community has liked the most. This could be for various reasons like safe location, best hikes, best MTB trails, etc…

Q: What is “My Favourites” option on the Mobile app?

Answer:

These are the venues or locations that you save as part of your favourites. You can add any location to your favourites by clicking on the heart icon. To deselect simply click on the heart icon again.

Q: What are “Featured” activities on the Mobile app?

Answer:

These are activities that respective venues are promoting to the ActiFinder community. There are many different activities available on ActiFinder like Road Cycling, MTB, trail running, hiking, Climbing.

Q: What type of venue information / location information is available?

Answer:

ActiFinder takes pride in providing the most detailed information for venues / locations. These include Child friendly, Wheelchair friendly, Pet friendly, Restaurants, Picnic, trails and route information and tons more.

Q: Can I add a new trail?

Answer:

Currently only venues / locations can add their trail information. It is the responsibility of the owners to keep their information up to date. If you feel that information is missing then please review the venue / location on the mobile app and add relevant comments of what you would like to see additionally. We make this information available to the owners in order for them to improve the quality and accuracy of their information.

Q: Does ActiFinder have live tracking?

Answer:

Yes it does. ActiFinder has a feature called ActiTrack. This shows on map view where you currently are and a trail from where you started. You can also see information like the speed your average speed, the distance travelled, the time elapsed and the location. You can also add comments for the activity and upload photos and videos. Each hike, ride, climb, run information will be saved in your ActiTrack feed, and you can also view any activities that your AF friends have completed.

Q: Can I send App Feedback / Support?

Answer:

Yes. On the mobile app there is a “Contact us” section. If you are having an issue with the app or would like to see anything additional then please let us know. We would like to hear from you.

Otherwise on the website you can go to the “Get in Touch” page. From there will have to provide your email address and name and send our team your support issue or query and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you would like to add your business or trail to ActiFinder you can email us at admin@actifinder.com.

Q: Can I share my activities on Facebook / Instagram?

Answer:

This feature is not available at the moment, but will be coming in the near future.

Q: Is ActiFinder Integrating with other devices?

Answer:

Currently the Apple Watch is available when you download the mobile app. This will give you access to check in at a location / venue. It will also give you access to the ActiFinder Panic button that will notify your emergency contacts.
